Meet the team
Sam has been involved with tractors most of his life, having bought his first antique tractor in 2001, a Farmall Super A. This turned into a life-long passion for all things ‘old iron’ - collecting, repairing, and now supplying the parts others need to keep their equipment operating as it should.
Alongside his partner Cherrie, they juggle an ever-growing inventory, source and order parts, and respond to customer queries, all the while taking care of the day-to-day necessities of farm life.
Our History
After the Super A, Sam found himself with a Ferguson TEF-20, followed shortly after by a Massey Ferguson 135 which required an engine overhaul.
After these, various tractors have come and gone … mostly of International Harvester and Massey Ferguson parentage. The current stable includes offerings from International Harvester, Farmall, David Brown (a new farm-favourite), and Massey Ferguson.
One tractor has stood the test of time beyond all the rest; the Super A is still on the farm, over two decades after Sam brought it home.
The tractor parts supply business was born out of frustration with the dwindling availability and increasing pricing for some parts locally.
Since late 2021 Sam has been sourcing parts from a growing number of suppliers who can meet the strict criteria of good value and good quality.
With new items arriving on a regular basis, we are stocking a growing number of parts in order to reduce delays, as well as ironing out the challenges often found in today’s ‘supply chain’.
